CSC Researches, Technologies, Featured at Catandungan Trade Fair

Eight researches, six technologies and five information materials of the Catanduanes State Colleges were featured at the Catandungan Festival 2009 Agro-Industrial and Technology Fair at the Virac Youth Center on October 22-24.

The researches, presented in posters forms were Financial Capability and Buying Practices of Barangay-Based Abaca Entrepreneurs in Catanduanes; Maximizing Agri-Fishery Land Use; Biodiversity, Culture and Use of Endemic Edible Fungi in Catanduanes; Inventory of Cyprea Species in Catanduanes; Efficiency of Updating Database Using Data Environment Object and ADO Object Built through CODE; The Role of Women in Abaca Farming in Catanduanes and Pantomina Catanduanes.

The technologies exhibited were Climate Change Adaptive Technology for Sustainable Production of High Value Vegetables; Improvised Exposure Photographic Machine; Low Cost Mechanical Cellphone Charger; Low Cost Universal Cellphone Charger; Improvised Drafting Tool for Pattern Making and Abaca Specialty Products.

The exhibited was organized and mounted by the CSC Extension Services Center. Several other national and local government agencies and NGOs showcased their products and services in the annual trade fair.
