It's barely a week to go before holy week and possibly, many are anticipating for a brief vacation. There are already three airlines available from Manila to Virac vice versa. These are the Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Zest Airways (formerly Asian Spirit).
Cebu Air, Inc., operating as Cebu Pacific Air, is Asia's third-largest low-cost airline based in Pasay City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It offers scheduled flights to both domestic and international destinations. Cebu Pacific Air is currently the country's leading domestic carrier, serving the most domestic destinations with the largest number flights and routes, and equipped with the youngest fleet. Its main base is Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, with another hub at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Francisco Bangoy International Airport and Diosdado Macapagal International Airport.
Zest Airways is an airline which started as Asian Spirit, based in Pasay City, Manila in the Philippines. It operates scheduled domestic and international tourist services, mainly feeder services linking Manila and Cebu with 24 domestic destinations in support of the trunk route operations of other airlines. Its main base is Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, with hubs at Mactan-Cebu International Airport and Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in the Clark Special Economic Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga. Also these hubs outside Manila still have to be made operative as of July 2009.
PAL Express (short for Philippine Airlines Express) is the low-cost regional airline brand of Philippine Airlines. PAL Express operates from Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Cebu City, with smaller operations from PAL's main hub in Manila, flying primarily intra-regional routes in the Visayas and Mindanao, as well as secondary routes to smaller airports in island provinces that are not able to accommodate mainline PAL jet aircraft.RELATED LINKS:
